This spin-off of THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW featured beloved mechanic Gomer Pyle entering the Marine Corps. Jim Nabors played Pyle, resurrecting the character`s catchphrases, including Surprise, surprise, surprise! and Shazam! said in Pyle`s trademark Southern drawl.
